Information you provide

When you request an estimate or contact us, we receive the information you submit, such as your name, telephone number, email address, ZIP code, service selection and project details. Employment applications include your contact details, position of interest, electrical experience, message and any resume you attach. We use this information to respond, discuss services, review applications and maintain related correspondence.

Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, medical information or other sensitive information through our website forms or chatbot.

Who receives form submissions

Estimate requests and applications are delivered by email to the appropriate Cruiser Electric team members. Copies also go to our website support provider, AR Smart Marketing, to support website operation and form delivery. Hosting and email providers process this information as part of providing their services. Resume attachments may remain in recipient mailboxes and their backups even after the temporary website upload is removed.

Ask Cruiser and optional voice input

Ask Cruiser selects answers from information built into this website. Typed questions are processed in your browser; the chatbot does not submit those questions to an external AI service or send them to our team as an inquiry. Use a contact link or estimate form when you want our team to respond.

Voice input is optional and requires microphone permission. Your browser's speech service converts speech into text and may send audio to its provider's servers for processing. That provider's privacy practices apply. You can review or edit the resulting text before sending it to the chatbot. Cruiser's chatbot does not store an audio recording. You can type instead and revoke microphone permission in your browser settings.

Optional Google Analytics

If you accept analytics through our privacy choices, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and website use. Analytics may use cookies and process usage, browser and device information. Chatbot measurements include opens, question counts, typed/voice/suggested input categories, microphone starts, transcription outcomes and contact-button categories. These counts help us understand which features people use.

We do not send chatbot questions, answers, audio, transcripts, resume contents or form-field contents to analytics. Chatbot contact events record a category such as call, email or estimate, not the contact destination. Our analytics setup keeps advertising consent off and disables user-provided-data collection.

Cookies, storage and your choices

Analytics is off until you choose to accept it. The chatbot and forms work whether you accept or decline. Use the Cookie settings button to change your choice at any time. We save that choice in this browser for 180 days. Clearing browser storage or using another browser may cause us to ask again.

Withdrawal stops future analytics collection by this setup; it does not erase information already collected. Essential storage used for your privacy choice, site administration, security and form operation is separate from optional analytics.

Form security with Cloudflare Turnstile

Our estimate and employment forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated spam and abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser information and the website origin to perform security checks. Our server sends a verification token to Cloudflare before accepting a submission; it does not send your form contents or resume to that verification service. This security check operates independently of optional Google Analytics and is required to submit these forms. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Website services and external links

Our hosting service may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages and browser information to deliver and protect the website. Forms use technical checks to reduce spam. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which requires a connection to Google's servers and can expose ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser details.

Links to Google Maps, reviews, email services and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Choosing a call or email link opens the relevant service on your device; a click alone does not mean an inquiry was delivered.

Retention and security

Inquiry and application information may remain in business correspondence, service records and provider backups. Retention depends on the purpose of the information and applicable business or legal requirements. Contact us if you have a question about a specific record or would like us to review a deletion request.

We use HTTPS and access controls to help protect website information. No website, email system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Privacy questions and requests

We may need to verify your identity before responding. Available rights and any limits on a request depend on applicable law and the records involved.
